Finally the sun has been out, but with a vengeance! This heat is hard to get used to for me at least but the garden is loving it. With the sun comes LOTS of weeding and like every year for every farmer, it is always a challenge to keep on top of it.
After our second market we are still doing well and were able to sell some beautiful mixed greens and radishes as our first fresh produce items of the summer. It is such a relief to finally be eating fresh vegetables and I can't wait for more to be ready.
The garden expansion is finally finished and we have lots of space! Somehow it seems like we will still need more but that will have to wait until next year.
