Plugging Along

Most of the flowers are now in the ground and now it is a matter of keeping them watered so they survive! We don't have a lot of news to report this week except that we are planting and harvesting and hoping that the temperature doesn't dip down on us again. Cleveland weather is so unpredictable but I am thinking summer is here to stay.

Bev transplanting flowers and Anne watering them in.

Beets

Terry's best friend in the garden.

We won't have any more green garlic as we are going to leave the rest in the ground to turn into heads. It was new addition to the market this year and proved to be very successful. It made a delicious pesto that was amazing with crackers and on pizza that I made last week with our fresh arugula on top!

It looks like there is a chance of rain tomorrow but hopefully it will hold out and we will have a nice sunny morning for market tomorrow. Please come see us! We will be selling:

-tomato plants
-basil plants
-parsley
-cilantro
-green onions
-kale (tuscan & curly)
-swiss chard
-head lettuce (green & red)
-grape jelly
